Angie Pereyra is an Attorney at Richard Celler Legal, P.A. Prior to her affiliation with the firm, Ms. Pereyra was a solo practitioner, specializing in criminal defense, and worked closely with several prominent criminal defense attorneys on an array of misdemeanor and felony cases.
Ms. Pereyra earned her undergraduate degree in Criminology and Psychology from the University of Miami. She earned her Juris Doctor degree at Florida International University College of Law, where she received the following awards:

- CALI Excellence for the Future Award in International and Comparative Law
- Frequent Dean’s list recipient
While in law school, Ms. Pereyra was a Certified Legal Intern at both the Miami-Dade and Broward County Public Defender’s Office, where she gained extensive experience in drafting legal documents and representing clients in criminal court. Ms. Pereyra was also involved in an Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where she represented clients at deportation hearings in immigration court.
During her free time, Ms. Pereyra connects with her inner-child, and spends quality time with her sassy, smart, humorous, and beautiful toddler. She also enjoys poems writing, meditation, cooking, and watching her favorite lawyer and medical shows, such as Suits, the Good Wife, How to Get Away with Murder, Scandal, Code Black, and of course, Grey’s Anatomy.
Ms. Pereyra currently represents and counsels individuals in all types of employment and labor law matters, including, harassment, discrimination and retaliation, wage and hour disputes, whistleblower disputes, and other employment and labor law issues. She has extensive experience in negotiating, mediating, litigating and arbitrating labor and employment law disputes.
Her professional affiliations include membership in the Dominican American Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division, and holds an inactive volunteer membership as a Guardian ad Litem. Ms. Pereyra is admitted to practice in Florida state courts.
